Our programs are administered at no cost to the participant, with priority given to priority populations.
Compassion Scholars
The Compassion Scholars program is a 1.5-year initiative dedicated to shaping empathetic leaders in Washington and beyond. Through experiential travel, mentorship, and service learning, scholars are paired with experienced mentors to explore global issues and participate in immersive projects. Upon returning, scholars collaborate with their mentors to implement service projects within their communities.
Applications close on November 12th, 2024.
Washington World Fellows
The WA World Fellows programs are now accepting nominations for sophomores in Washington state. These rigorous 2.5-year programs focus on post-secondary preparation, leadership development, and global exchange.
WWF International Ambassadors: Experience a study abroad program in Spain, live with local families, and attend Spanish language and culture classes. Collaborate with Spanish students to develop a bilingual, global youth summit.
WWF Domestic Advocates: Participate in a Spanish language immersion program in Washington, with Spanish roommates. Engage in cultural activities and reflective conversations to develop advocacy skills.

Boundless Washington
The Boundless WA program is designed for high school students with physical and/or sensory disabilities. This 1.5-year program focuses on developing leadership skills and encouraging participation in sports and outdoor activities. Students will meet virtually with peers from across the state, work on leadership and advocacy skills, and attend the Boundless WA Summer Adventure for a week of accessible activities.
