Who We Are

The purpose of the Washington State Leadership Board (WSLB) is to recognize outstanding services to the state and cultivate leaders through statutory programming (RCW 43.388)

Individuals serving on the Board of Directors are called “Board members,” while certain other members, appointed by statute, do not vote and are known as “Ex-Officios.”

The WSLB is governed by state law and the agency’s bylaws:
