PRESS RELEASE: The WSLB Announces New Executive Director
Olympia, WA - The Washington State Leadership Board (WSLB) is proud to announce Audrey Baker as the incoming Executive Director, effective May 1, 2023. Baker is the first Executive Director of the WSLB since its transition to a Trustee Agency in 2022.
Baker has been involved with the WSLB since 2020 and formerly served as the organization’s Operations and Development Director. In 2022, she facilitated the transition from Nonprofit to Trustee Agency per Senate Bill 5750, laying a solid foundation for the organization. Her background and experience, plus her exceptional qualifications and leadership skills are well-suited to lead the organization in fulfilling its mission of empowering young leaders throughout Washington state.

"Her extensive experience and exceptional leadership skills are what we need to take the WSLB to the next level.” WSLB Vice President Pierce echoed these sentiments, adding, "We are thrilled to have Ms. Baker as the new Executive Director. She has been an integral part of WSLB's success, and she will bring both continuity and vision to our growth as an organization and to our world-class youth leadership programming.”
